Our Story
Farringdon Detached FC was formed in July 2003 by Ian Stewart and his nephew Ryan Eley. Ryan had a group of friends who had no team to play for so, they approached Ian to ask if he would he start a team at u16 level.
From this single team, which started off the club in 2003, we have continued to grow each year. Today we have various junior teams, both male and female and a men\u2019s team, who currently play in the Wearside League.
In May 2011, Farringdon Detached FC became a registered charity in order to help the club to secure more funding opportunities. We are now officially...
Farringdon Detached Youth & Community Football Club.
